Zesty Citrus Salt

You can make this in a blink of an eye. It will enhance your salads, pasta dishes as well as chicken and fish.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Himalayan Salt (fine)

  • Zest from 2-3 lemons

Preparation

  1. Zest 2-3 lemons

  2. Put zest in a frying pan on low. Continually stir until zest is dried. Watch closely so it doesn’t burn.

  3. Put zest on a plate to cool.

  4. Once cooled, mix well with salt.

  5. Store in an airtight container.

Tips

Play with different citrus. You can add the zest of a lime or an orange. You can’t go wrong.
