Yin and Yang in a Waffle
To experience opposites at the same time and have them compliment each other gives cause for pause. The birth process offers the same experience. An incredible amount of pain is felt that opens up a window from Heaven to bring forth a miracle. The first time I saw my daughter’s little face, love exploded in a new dimension I never knew existed. All the pain was worth it and paradoxically made the process a sacred experience.
These waffles are not on that same level, but I love that it offers an opportunity to contemplate the yin-yang of life. It reminds us that everything is spiritual. Cooking is another chance to see Source/God in gourmet food. Getting present, enjoying the ingredients and experiencing how they magically blend to bring elevated flavor and nourishment provides gratitude and bliss.

Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, this waffle recipe is the perfect blend of yin-yang. Wikipedia defines yin-yang as the concept of existing cosmic principles that are opposite, but complimentary.
These principles interconnect, support and perpetuate each other in a synergistic relationship. After eating these waffles, I’m sure you’ll agree, it is indeed a cosmic experience. It’s also gluten free which makes it even more wonderfulI
