When you Find Yourself Going Uphill
My post content
I have been experiencing a lot of joint and muscle pain in my body over the last 18 plus months. Today was the first day in as many months that I woke up and didn’t feel exhausted. What a blessing!!
Maybe you have experienced something similar, where something is not right with your body and you’ve seen many different health care providers in order to address it and nothing worked. Not PT, acupuncture, herbs, stretching, or chiropractics. Or maybe you were told “you’re just getting older and that’s the way it is”. NO! I went through all that and kept looking for Health Providers that could help me.
I recently completed a two month heavy metal detox to help alleviate all of the above mentioned ailments as well as some serious brain fog. It has been an uphill battle for sure. The great news is that because I had some energy this morning, I decided to add some running to my walking routine. (I used to run 5 days until the pain got to be too much). I decided to run up the big hill I used to do all the time. Here is what helped me. I told myself to not look at how far I had to go, to just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and I made it up that hill!
We all have hills and mountains to climb in life. Taking it one step at a time will get you to the top!
