Easy Brie-zy
A delicious combination of brie with jam, prosciutto, pistachios and garnish. This blend bakes beautifully into a warm, gooey dip for crackers or veggies.


Ingredients
1 wheel of brie 12.5 oz
1/3 cup strawberry guava or fig jam
1/2 tsp chipotle powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
4 oz prosciutto slices - cut into small pieces
¼ cup chopped pistachio nuts
Honey for drizzling
Garnish with green onions and parsley
Directions
Mix your choice of jam with the chipotle and smoked paprika
Make several slits in the brie, being careful to avoid cutting to the edges
Take out the rind from the slit portions. Using a knife, open up the slits for the jam
Pipe or spoon in the jam into the slits
Using a butter knife, gently add the prosciutto into the brie slits
Top with pistachio nuts *optional
Put the brie in a 6” round baking dish. It should be a snug fit.
Bake at 400 degrees until brie and nuts are golden, about 30 -35 minutes til golden and gooey in the middle
Drizzle with honey, garnish with chopped parsley and green onions
Tips
Serve warm, with crusty bread or crackers. You can also wait to add the pistachios after the brie is baked. You can also make the centerpiece of a larger charcuterie board.
